PackTrax is a custom item tracker designed for students who have to carry multiple items to class on different days. The system works by placing RFID tags on key items (computer, binders, notebooks, etc.) and having a PackTrax scanner nearby. Using the PackTrax mobile app, users can designate which items they need on specific days of the week, and the app will automatically alert them if they are missing a specific item from their bag.
This project was completed in collaboration with Nathan Ballman, Tyler Bordeaux, Samuel Hren, and Henry York for Hyland Software's 2024 Innovation Showdown. I helped with RFID circuitry/design and creating business plans and pitches. Check out the project's pitch here.
